  You might be forgiven for thinking this surgery was a training ground for rude and quite unpleasant staff. This surgery recieves a fortune in tax payers money to facilitate the needs of some very vulnerable people often ex care and with significant mental health issues. Hard to see how dealing with the disrespectful cold manner of the staff doesnt impact on some of these poor patients. Those people are asked to call a seperate line which is rarely answered. A message facility is available but nobody bothers to return calls and frankly I have seen and heard enough of this practice to say it is everything that is wrong with GP practices. I would urge people to avoid this lot. A disgrace to the medical world in my opinion. Ive read the surgerys response and I am indeed a patient. Furthermore I stand by exactly what Ive said and will tell Google so if they contact me. Interesting the respondant says the people on the list are all removed from GPs practices. Not all are but isnt it interesting how the respondant almost invites readers to say 'sure these people are no good so they neednt be treated with any respect or compassion'.. The surgery has a few female staff and one or two are courteous and quite warm however some are incredibly rude and one receptionist even questioned my pharmacy in relation to my medication consumption ! Some are simply rude and arrogant. Imagine a receptionist trying to dictate how much medication I use ! Dr Emmanuel aside the Doctors here are businessmen not caring GPs as we traditionally expect. Calls not returned medication often not sent to chemist on request and speaking to some of the reception staff can be quite an unpleasant experience they are so short and controlling. I invite the respondant to call me if he has any issues with my comments but of course they dont like interaction with people they see as beneath them.. Hey ho.. I stand by my observations as they reflect my own experience and indeed the pharmacist I use says the reception staff there are often rude and obstructive so it isnt just me. Furthermore my pharmacist tells me they are forever having to chase up prescriiptions via fax so it isnt just patients this lot have contempt for. The respondant is not stating fact/truth when he says all calls replied to in 24 hours. I waited three days for urgent medication as the surgery was ignoring me and the pharmacy who were also trying to obtain my medication. The respondant says no complaint was recieved... LIE The compaint was made and I was told to write to NHS direct !! So it seems the practice dont even care enough to have an internal investigation before fobbing off patients to another avenue of complaint. Seems to me the respondant is hoping I wont be back on this site. Wrong and I stand by my comments.. Wrong
